The storm here is no big deal at all, though it's
probably for the best that we all have the no-driving mandate throughout
the state.
I suited up and wandered around with Dante off leash, through some
blown 3' drifts, bringing compost out for the crows, and more birdseed out for
the winged minions.
We tromped across the broad field, winds whipping past
impressively , snow flying sideways, but tiny. Light flakes.
So, maybe around
here, all our extra blankets and flashlights and candles and food and water in
jugs and the filled bathtub and charged up phones and all will be for naught,
while so many other places get hammered.
While the pup and I wade out into the high field, with the snow obscured view of Leverett in the distance; the beautiful sun making like a moon up there in the thick soft skies, and the tiny snow tornadoes swirl past on their way uptown.
