So interesting to me how, in the fall, we begin
to whine about the approaching days of c-o-l-d.
The inconvenience of finding
our socks and shoes and coats and all , once again.
But once we get to late January, and encounter
the dog leash clasp that has to be thawed by your fingers to open,
each
inhalation freezes the inside of your nose ,
and sometimes your skin stings
and
fingers and toes threaten with numbness,
still , it kind of becomes
'Oh so
what' to a 10• day.
