Once we experience danger, we begin to live our
lives,
understandably on the lookout for danger.
Instead of feeling peaceful,
safe and relaxed,
ready for what is funny or sweet or heartwarming
or of
interest, we train our vigilance on anything
that possibly is of danger.
This
can change everything.
Reducing the possibility of daily experience ,
of that
which feels good.
Seek, and ye shall find.
Which is where conscious awareness comes in.
Noticing when this happens, and choosing
on a daily basis to focus instead on
other things.
