The mycelium in the woodlands are blossoming
emerging out of leaf mold and decomposing great old trees, in all colors and shapes
from their quiet life all year long 
a scattered and lilting Cavatina of sorts
as the fall movement approaches with cool nights, jackets and socks heavy dew and all the raptors convening in this neck of the woods for the great migratory decisions.
