Yesterday evening the sky held a transmuting sunburst, shooting out across the skies
as the clouds swirled and pulled into tails,
into forms, far overhead. As we wandered Summit Road, as he bunny hopped and I
inhaled deeply
remembering one tough as a nut day a few months
ago, standing here, tethered to the voice of a dear friend, holding on.
Now an advent of more ease, on the long winding
road that is our lives, all of us, as the sun finally sets, and the life as we
know it tumbles happily into night.
