Sometimes it's really tough and confusing to
maintain clear boundaries when you are supporting a loved one.
It's easy to have what you think are vital ideas
and ask if they want support doing things, neither of you noticing that in fact
you are slowly moving in to their yard and messing with their stuff, and in
fact need to about face and maybe love them and support them but, no matter the
more favorable outcome, focus more on your own fears and less on making sure
they do things.
Because trying to hold up things for someone
else , even when they ask you to, is far weightier and anxiety producing than
helping them hold it up themselves.
