I’m
not a particularly lamentious person. I have plenty of other
less-than-desirable traits instead.
A close friend has been pretty lamentious
for most of their life.
The interesting thing is, as soon as they developed a
Serious Condition, the lamenting disappeared.
As if there is no room for it.
As
if there are more vital things in this here and now to take note of, to engage
with.
And that, my friends, is what serious situations give to us, as a rich
and complex gift.
