6.6.16 White Against Dark Green Hills

Out back this morning, the sun was warm and the air still, as the bird community went about their lives , with so many nests full of eggs or second clutch babies.
Hummingbirds challenged each other out in the fields, and the Bluebirds came round again , just when I finally put their birdhouse out.
The Mountain Laurel blossomed this morning, and held court, as the season's first butterfly drank deeply from their blossoms.
I sat quietly in the sun and baked and watched enormous billowing clouds pass by.
Far off several towns over, The Leverett Peace Pagoda shone white against the dark green hills. As we relish the cool bright days and the clear nights of June, once again.
