The arroyo has grown thick

So off we went, along the
path up high, overlooking quieted farmers' fields

At the end of the path, we turned to look out over the river, then turned again to go back. As a small adolescent coyote emerged from down by the grasses, barking it's indignance at our intrusion.
So, of course, off raced Dante after the small fast one, far into the corn.

After a bit, after the young one eluded my boy, he returned, I put him on leash, and as we left, the coyote again complained vigorously. Guess that's that for dog runs, for now.
