8.9.16 The Goshawk circling overhead

I was standing, leaning against the car, in the cool shade of the woods, watching with such pleasure the soft buttery beauty of the Goshawk circling overhead to define their territory, to clarify their protection of their young one, who was lingering in a treetop, not quite willing to come out for their final lesson, with me in the car down below. You can hear the young one chirp chirping, telling their parent "Oh, I don't know, I'm not sure." As the parent sweeps close to them again and again, urging them to come out! Come out! And make their wings strong, their flying agile, their life powerful and adaptive.
