9.24.16 Unknown and unknowable

I imagine it has always been like this, only with changing degrees - where we humans fill our outlook with human created constructs... social, governmental, economic , and emotional , used to interpret and create organizational templates that we use to navigate life. Interpret it.   

Enabling us to feel as though we are creating meaning and order out of the unknown and the unknowable.

Thing is, we as a species unerringly end up packing in so much of our reassuring obsessions with hate, with assumptions, and our machines , there is little room left to utilize our greatest tool of all: an open contemplative habit of being with what is. 

In order to gather awareness from that, and use it to see the big huge picture , in order to make decisions and choose direction. 

Our addictive involvement with our own hierarchical competitive models of relating, and our own compulsive utilizing of tech, makes us veer farther and farther from a big picture understanding with any clarity whatsoever , or any deep awareness of our very situation.
