When it's warm enough and we're stuffed to the brim with
the center-roasting heat of a summer, we become ripe with this sun kissed
quality of life lived out of doors.
Out on our stoop or wide open window far up many stories in the sky.
Or perhaps quiet dirt road sitting out in a dirt patch.

Or perhaps quiet dirt road sitting out in a dirt patch.
Strolling home along the city block from work, glad to be out in the light, the air.
Rich green grasses slipping past our ankles despite the long times of no-rain. Here we are.
Filled to the brim with our summerness, never thinking twice about how it's not ever here to stay.
