One is physical stress, because it actually takes physical energy ,
creating a lot of tension in the body and mind, to lie, and maintain a lie.
Even when our personas are so used to exaggerating or leaning in certain directions,
the body gets tense with deception . Holding together the two lives,
one of a tangled web of titilating stories necessary to maintain
the other the actual that liars hide even from themselves
instead habituating a made up land of entitled justification
Deception perpetuates a sense of an unsafe self, too.
Because, when we’re lying, that comes from a sense of being threatened.
Lying perpetuates that feeling.
Of no safety.
Of not enough love.
Of not being enough.
How very sad.
