6.23.15 Plant them plant them everywhere. Ah, the glorious Monarch-sustaining Milkweed.

6.23.15 Enormousness in the day

This morning, after waking too early, and meditating, then settling myself quietly, I caught sight of the day's beginning, layered in velvet clouds.

Out I went, into the warm breezy day, and watched the folds that undulated as they blew by overhead, the sun gradually turning the horizon a stunning quiet gold.

When who came gracefully flying up from the river but an enormous Bald Eagle, perhaps on their way back down to the Eagle Sanctuary, to their craggy enormous nest. Where enormous young ones await their breakfast's arrival.

6.23.15 Just a touch of Ghostbusters there, up in the skies this morning.

6.21.15 Creatures just want to have fun

Creatures just want to have fun:

A Ruby Throated Hummingbird,
Dragonflies,
adolescent Sparrows,
Damselflies,

all playing as they dart in and out of the sprinkler.

6.21.15 The day quietly came to a close

The day quietly came to a close
unprepossessing as ever
while the sun streaked the sky
circled by a clutch of
luminous clouds

6.21.15 And so we rest in this quiet beginning of day

gentle persistent rain

the muted feel of a showering morning

the pattering of drops falling upon the forest

birds calling, much sleeping

this is how we rest in this

quiet beginning of day
