7.16.16 Everything else

I remember being 21 years old, having been on my own for four years, waking up with my lover in a third floor walk up in Brattleboro Vermont, at his place, where the living room/bedroom looked out upon the Connecticut, far below. I remember us rubbing out our sleepy eyes, pulling on clothes, walking down all those stairs to the sidewalk of downtown Brattleboro, below, Hanging a left to the bakery, grabbing an eclair and a coffee, to have with our cigarettes. It was a sweet confusing time. Having all that for breakfast felt horrible. I didn't know, yet, that there was anything else.

7.15.16 Reflection

As above, so below.

7.15.16 And everything continued growing

Down by the farmers fields, it was just that kind of midsummer's day, the air stilled, the birds and insects quieted by the heat, as some magnificent clouds gave momentary relief, and everything continued growing.

7.13.16 Go ahead.

Just guess what the back seat
looked like after this.
