10.22.16 And every errand becomes breathtaking

10.21.16 I've become so fond

Fall around here shows up just like that.
I'm so fond of this big old Maple, that's stood here for at least a century, alongside the river, the mountain range, the days beginning and then ending, all the many seasons.

10.23.16 Graduated hues with a pointillist touch

We're almost at that point where the fallen wet leaves
obscure the existence of the driveway.
 Life becomes a Lautrec painting,
of graduated hues with a pointillist touch.

10.21.16 Water is life.

The reprieve of rain, the nourishment of fresh air,
the salvation of clean water.
 Water is Life.

10.21.16 With the wind at your back

What a complex day. A kid had a great promotion. Another kid another great good job too.
A death in the family. Of found love and it's end. So many ups and downs and comings and goings.

So,what we learn when we've been here long enough, is to stay low and go low.

Keep solid and let the things go through us and around us and within us and resonate with us and pass on through.

The love and the loss and the remarkable and the tough.

To greet each one with love and discerning tenderness and then leave
with the wind at your back.

10.21.16 Down by the river

Down by The Connecticut, I stood in the fresh morning breeze, as a beautiful deep blue mated pair of Great Blue Herons flew by.
