We walked along, watching

as the sun set behind the small oasis of trees

in the midst of the vast farmer's fields

 

3.25.17 Day after day I fall

I fall, day after day, for the wonder of the broad sweep of sky

 

3.25.17 The spring melt

The sky blazed and the reflection in the spring melt shimmered

3.25.17 Approaching sleep

Down by the farmers fields it was cool and windy, the land in this neighborhood approaching sleep.

Rainy cold rainy cold late winter dark wet shining ribbon of road, shining fast rushing riverway, small nestling mountain range, as this day unfolds and unfurls and shimmers and opens.
