So
fascinating to me how, as we grow older, our process of finding the way to
solutions, to the best options, changes so radically.
Instead of veering or leaping to some conclusion, out of impatience or discomfort. Instead of making lists and researching and problem solving and delving into our left brain.
We seem to begin knowing how to follow the current, dipping the oar in to avoid a protruding rock, to use the power of the small eddy, to shift ourselves away from the banks, or slow ourselves for a bit in a small inlet; always knowing that there is a flow, that we can have considerations, questions. That we can be seeking solutions, to income, to problems, to sources of support or choices. And that it isn't a question any longer of evaluating options solely on linear logic, but rather, moving down the stream, with awareness.
Watching for what may or may not fit us well, as options appear, as choices open and, indeed, close. As deterrents make themselves known. As we find our way.
