And in this age of ours, we seem to
forget that more than ever . In this age of ours, what with fast fast
connections and purchases and text messages and service, we begin to somehow
anticipate being hand fed our very own desires. Large soy latte no sugar yes
blah blah.
All over the country we have brethren opining and revolting when they come upon anything at all that is not exactly their fit . The first response is often not about the topic, but whether they do or did or would like it or want it or have it or not. Me me me me.
So often we get confused, trying to find friendships and partners and jobs and homes and dogs and cars and shoes and moods that we really want right now . And tossing in the bin whatever is a bit tough or rough or not quite as just right as we want it to be right now.
We have confused the process of living and learning with high speed online shopping, and then rue the terrible results .
We forget that there's a great big complex world out there, filled with a
bajillion of humans not just like us.
And if we can just grow up enough, in this age of me and mine and how/when/why I like it, we might exit the perturbed adolescent stage and dig into one amazing enriching complicated life.
