We get so confused, once
real tough stuff takes over. So many things are happening that we didn't
expect. It's so easy to hunker down into the disappointment. The bitter anger.
How could this be? Did we deserve this and we are no good? Or is life unfair?
Is everyone else getting the better stuff?
If anyone deserves the really good stuff, it
should be us. Look how hard we worked. How much we've suffered. How unfair things
have been for us.
These are the stories we tell ourselves, that
distract us from learning. That hold sway against settling down into our own
actuality. Facing our circumstance.
