This is the littlest
tiniest teeny weeny baby hummingbird. I was standing in my herb garden, taking
a photo , when they came along. I stood very still, and it began to rain. They
spread their tiny wings for the drops to fall through all their feathers and
looked up into the sky and opened their miniature beak to the sky and just had
the nicest Humm Dee Dunn time, not even knowing I was someone, til I excused
myself and moved and they fluttered close to check me out. Sweetest small
being. Later I was in another medicinal garden and they came by to have dinner,
saw me, and just sort of said Oh Hi, and fed. Guess we are friends now. Not
much bigger than your thumb.
