Last night, finally, the
rain fell.
When I ventured out, the large garter snake was just passing by, the
toads coming out from beneath their dry homes, out into the rain and the
glorious wet.
Last night, for the first time since early spring, the tree frogs
were all singing, and happily.
The crickets were celebrating and the cicadas
were adding their voices.
This morning, when we went outside early, the land
was satiated, for now.
Clean water is life.
Water unharmed by humans is life.
Clean water is life.
Water unharmed by humans is life.
Out we went this morning, the ground nicely soaked, every single thing drinking.
Love and happiness and water.
