12.18.14 It's One More Delicious Day
In all the what-all of discovering Gemma and struggling to find a trap to bring her inside, and then caring for her, and then discovering she was at terrible risk and having to have the end of her sweet short life, my Shiva Louisa began accelerated breathing at night.
I cooled the bedroom, and as soon as possible, went and bought homeopathic Spongia tosta, a remedy par excellence for Congestive Heart aspects.
See, the holistic vet understands, and agreed with me that if Shiva took meds for various things, it's a double edged sword. Far increased liver challenge, versus benefits.
Sometimes the benefits of all kinds of meds are live saving and worthwhile. Sometimes not.Part of what I taught clients in my practice was how to foresee the conditions coming down the road, and consider taking things that would prevent the condition, or even restore the organ/system to greater health. All kinds of people from all walks of life and wallets learned very cool things to do, to address and roll back conditions. They learned that when you do what fits you, and what covers the bases, it works. And then sometimes, with the help of a holistic doctor, you can even gradually transition from a med to a holistic protocol.
My own holistic doctor mentioned a med that helps prevent the onset of auto-immune diseases, which one is very vulnerable to when having Adrenal Fatigue. I said, yeah, yeah, but it would stress my already challenged liver. He sighed, and said, yeah, it really would. I told him I'd try to wing it with all my gifted brilliant bodywork, and my selection of supplements and lifestyle stuff, like diet and ease and meditation and mindfulness and therapeutic process, and see if I could slip out of the woods of auto-immune stuff. Which, with great bodywork help, I have.Just because using the right things judiciously, (if you can afford it) (goodbye all sorts of vacations and new furniture and clothes and going to movies; hello supplements and health) works.
So I increased my Louisa's herbal Anti-Inflammatory and Constitutional herbs and microbe killing things, like her Oil of Oregano and Garlic, and then we added the Spongia tosta.
No accelerated breathing, in day or night. Boom.
Not that she's not 17,nor that she doesn't have other growths beginning to obstruct and what not. But...not yet. Not now.
For now, she awakens from a restorative sleep,
and it's one more beautiful delicious day.
