2.18.17 Sounds like smells like

We wander outside for the last of the day, sandals and sweatshirt, 

the sky full of bright stars and starlight, 

the wind mild but persistent,

 the night sounds and smells simply heaven .

2.18.17 Insight, faith and love.

How much living we each take to learn our big picture. 
To cathect with our powerful solidity in knowing that which is our selves. 
Confidence ,without rigidity, in our estimations of others. 
Insight into our blindness and bias, that limit ourselves and others. 
Faith in our capacity to grow and strengthen our integrity and our captivity for love.
For wisdom infused trust. 
Our resilience when encountering all things unkind and untrue and harmful. 
And our overriding grace, infused from All That Is, comforting us 
and supporting our strength through our days.

2.18.17 The love we make

The interesting thing about saving moments of our own is that we look at the photo or video or read the words or hear the song we created or the walk we took or the love we made or the basket we wove or the dance that came careening out of us, and we taste that time from our past. 

We realize perhaps how unfathomably intense or sad or hopeful or happy or grief-stricken or bored or satiated or lost or solid or grateful we felt. 

And we learn once again that it all comes and goes, over and over again, save the deep certain inexorable self.

Down by the farmers fields, the snow softened 

and the dirt road turned to mud, as the mated pair 

of Goshawks did glide peacefully by.

As our dear friend,the neighborhood by the corner, 

was found adorned with intricate vines, 

sleeping winter limbs,

 and a sunset to send you heavenward
