11.17.14 It's The Other Species

Photo: Yesterday early morning, I peered out the upstairs window to see a beautiful , majestic 3 point Stag.
Crossing the field. As soon as I peeked, and told Kevin, who peeked, the deer saw us.
I wonder what that's like. To smell all a dog or wild one smells. To see what a deer or hawk or spider sees. To hear the entire song of each bird, instead of how we humans hear only a small portion,
and then forget all about how we're actually not seeing or hearing or smelling or tasting or feeling what is; but only a smidgeon of it.
Because it's the other species that have this broad range of both powerful intuition and genetic memory, and this huge range of sensory perception.
We just go after each other and make fancy machines and mess up our own backyards .
