It
amazes me how, when a person is a survivor of significant trauma,
they may
spend entire lives repairing grave injuries ,
but what is happening
simultaneously , always,
is that there is this weaving together of a remarkable
resilient new self, replete with all the insight, priceless gifts, and news
from the road .
