5.20.17 We are the ones

We are the only ones who can take stock of who we are, and grasp that, 

and hold it firmly in hand, while we move along in our lives. 

We can't rely on others to do this for us. 

We can't find fault with a good friend or a beloved or anyone else, 

if we have not learned that we are the ones who must fight along our own path, ourselves, to discover that within us which is precious and noteworthy and true. 
It matters not what others think; we are no moon awaiting a bright periodic sun, to bring us to life.
