2.5.16 Something beings do

When my oldest was an adolescent, and I had various respiratory troubles, he would go outside, cut pine boughs, bring them in, boil some water, simmer them, and then instruct me to come sit, towel over my head, and breathe deeply.
Until his mid-20s, when he left home for good, he did this. Along with any number of other things that I have always provided him with. Naturopathic solutions.
In the beginning it was such a surprise. After that, it was just love. Something living beings often do, for each other.
