We're standing in the shade, and it almost
feels like a glade , far down somewhere mysterious.
But it's only at the end of the farmers fields, where I stop for a bit, stunned by the chorale of bird voices, so populated now.
The trees are covered with Spring's very best, in their tender new leaves, creating this expanse of impressionist dappled color, everywhere we turn.
And so I do turn , and turn again, taking in the rapid changes of this beautiful hidden land, much like so many small, seemingly unremarkable places all about where you live, also.
As over in the next field, a farmer turns the soil over, and in yet another , the haying trailers stand empty and patiently waiting.
As the sky shimmers a deep Robin's egg blue and everything is cogent and manageable and fine.
