I stood
for a moment, stilled by the view of the Peregrine Falcon, who now and then
venture over here from their nest high upon a UMass building, to do some
hunting. This one sliced through the air, not one feather in movement, swinging
with economy above the treetops, following the parameters of the river, as all
others fled it's predatory tendencies . Here, and then as quickly, gone.
