2.1.15 The Teenager Hawk: One For Two

I sat writing in my study this morning, when suddenly I heard this loud squawking sound out front of the house.
Standing, I watched out the upstairs window, the teenager Hawk, in their ungainly flight up to the Maple, from the bird feeders and picnic table by the front.
They came to perch upon a limb out front.
Seems the little-big one had a much needed meal yesterday, and decided to try for it again, taking a miss this time. One for two so far.
No wonder the Morning Doves are spooked and hesitant, lingering in the nearby woods.
Hope they got some food down before the adolescent tried for them again today.
Oh well. Everybody needs to eat.
