6.20.15 We do the best we can; doing more about it than just fearing cancer

I think we do the best we can, with our health. To feel good. To avoid conditions like cancer. And stuff still happens. Genetic predispositions and parental exposures stacking the deck.
And it's not about shame or self-recrimination. Especially when we get a serious diagnosis . Instead, it's about acknowledging and accepting ourselves, our circumstances and our choices. And then turning, and really really taking care of ourselves as well as we possibly can.
And yeah, there's this long history of there being research money made available for male conditions, or solutions that can make someone lots of money. Those are the things much hard work goes to, which seems so heartbreaking.
In the realm of Naturopathy, enormous strides are being made. Huge valuable research done . People like my beloved stacking the deck with supplements prescribed by an Oncology Naturopath, ok-ed by an Oncologist who is Naturopathy literate . As our estimable holistic Dr. Brummer says, make sure to do enough. Great carefully planned care needs to be taken.
Many people are using these tools , and only the future to inform us as to what is most effective , and how, for whom . In the next 10 years, there will be much more information available for complementary treatment, for living with cancer. For detoxing from cancer treatments , which is essential.
Right now we have available to use huge dependable information about how to stack the deck to prevent cancer. To take into account your family medical history , your pesticide exposures .
One of the things I used to specialize in, in my acupressure and health educator practice, was palpating organs and systems, gather information, and teaching people what supplements to take to compensate for either their poor habits, or the medications they were on.
This is all information that is accessible. If you develop it as a hobby, you can slowly cross reference, until you identify things to do that are judiciously mentioned by reliable sources.
So we all do the best we can. But the stuff you and I overlook we can at least take responsibility ,for knowing it may come to no good.
We do the best we can, slowly figuring out how to modify poor habits and add beneficial ones , and then? We seize our day.
