6.21.15 Poison Ivyyyyyy Poison Ivyyyyy

Poison Ivyyyyyy Poison Ivyyyyy

Natural ways of limiting Poison Ivy: You know, it isn't that Poison Ivy is evil, per se. It's that, like ticks riddled with tick diseases and severely compromised cells becoming cancerous, Poison Ivy is vulnerable to the climate humans have created. Climbing CO2 levels mean that it is becoming potentized and vigorous.

Even without 'sensitivity', we search for ways to limit it while it begins to appear all over the land, simply because the land is more conducive to it's growth.

So I have begun doing what many of you do, taking composted cow manure (cheap) in a wheelbarrow, and a shovel, and v-e-r-y slowly pouring it on poison ivy.

Too fast, and the oils can actually move through the air into your lungs, or on your skin. Eyes. Yeah.

Then, covered, I cut landscaping fabric that lets the water through but stops growth, and lay it upon the dirt, then shovel on more dirt. No pesticides.

No pretending Poison Ivy is evil and terrible. More like, here we are, one more of the humans mucking up the planet, working to modify the extremes.
