10.2.15 The silence which creeps, the sleep that stutters

Anywhere at all, you have now the
silence which creeps, and sleep that stutters
The viscous encampment of your mind
crammed down into your heart

I asked you back then, how is it loyalty
becomes a side dish for  you,  your
integrity faltered once again during those
late night drives, never ever at home

Here, in the chronicity of vacant lots
there never was a realm worthy of you
of anything but insipid malaise, and
a twelve block stop of all that jerry rigging

Off in another land, silently you still
lay yourself down amongst so many
as if that will free you, as if somehow
delivered from dreaming of me
