We don't have to sit cross legged in the same
place every day, put our fingers together, and say to ourselves "Now I'm
going to meditate."
Or " Crap, I need to BEGIN to meditate."
We don't have to sit in our bed in the darkness at night, or on our sofa after a long day, and say to ourselves "Now I'm not going to think about anything, so I can be mindful."
Because we have this remarkable inborn capacity to digest our experiences.
All we need to do is be here. Quiet down. Let thoughts come up, and watch them pass by.
We don't even have to identify our focus of what it is we are digesting.
Like the field of dreams? All we have to do is show up.
Or " Crap, I need to BEGIN to meditate."
