9.21.16 "Woo woo" they told me.

Early this morning we went out into the thick fog, all things sopping with morning dew.
The trees and road and people waking and on bikes and motorized wheelchairs were obscured, so the speed pulled back to slow. So slow we went, and found ourselves pulled toward the southern woods, where the swamps and wetland drove the fog with their own small winds and pattered rains
On we went, across lumpy old wooded paths and dark winding roads, as the mist swam effortless through the tree tops far overhead ,and everything fell quiet.

Until we came upon visitors, approaching as we finished our walk, racing down the path, and charging into the woods for their own. Waiting for their person and friends and a good time for all. They encountered us, stopped up short, and thought about it.
"Woo woo" , they told me.
