3.2.16 Stopping and thinking

It's so odd to come to , every once in awhile , and realize that we didn't always have an Internet and now we have an Internet and people and machines across the globe put things on the internet: just millions and millions of every conceivable kind of thing a second or millisecond , and if you wanted to you , could just be somewhere looking at the Internet 24/7 and never ever run out of things to look at - and now we have people like my kids who can't quite remember when an Internet didn't take up so much of their days and lives and functioning and connecting , and wouldn't think to stop and think that either, ever , and here we are the last generation who can look behind us and sometimes beside us where there is
hardly any internet at all .
