I sometimes wonder if the 'grass is greener' yearning is a part of all lives everywhere.
It's funny how easy it is to acclimate to what we 'have' in our lives, and bop right onward to what we don't. Losing sight over the overarching wisdom that everyone has a different flavor life, with differing components.
Other times, I realize it not a conceptual deal, but rather one of our hours and days.
If you have connection with others but no food , you're going to get hungry.
If you have warmth and fresh air but no water, there will be thirst.
If you have exhaustion but can walk and hear and see, you are simply too depleted to do what you otherwise would .
It seems the task is to understand the lay of your own particular land, figure out what you can do - for managing, for pleasure . And then learn each day how to accept the rest .
