7.18.17 Riding that wave

Living with tough circumstances is riding a wave. Continually riding the waters, on and on.
Responding to still waters that do not move and go nowhere. Responding to swift waters that careen and twist and turn and surprise.
Expressing distress. Resting in love, in the long path of accepting and letting go of much, one at a time.
Remaining strong and vibrant, not as an effort, but by continuing to bring ourselves to exercise that strengthens and brings sleep.
To simple nourishing meals that provide fuel and strength.
To the simple routines of our day, quietly and without worry, that ground us in our selves.
To laughter, where we find it, and tears and sadness. The letting go, and then letting go again.
To the expression of so much emotion and thought, by simply being with them, and identifying them as such.
Continually emptying ourselves by this expression, so we can return to the present, and the closeness and clarity it has to offer.
