2.25.16 They take flight

This flock of Starlings, murmuring through the early morning rain, has resided at a local farm for years.
When I go by, they are feeding on the grain stores, cheering and singing and clucking to each other.
And then they take flight, in that inimitable Starling way, swinging through the air in their altogether.
Such a cohesive society.
Dancing and a prancing in all weather .
