12.3.15 They all were so sweet, in between the fights

As soon as my own children began arriving, I began cooking with them, baking, and making things. Going for long tromps outside to gather greens and pinecones and berries; and saving up pennies to go buy felt and other materials so that we could have fun making all sorts of things.
Winter Holidays were many and varied, and required all sorts of excitement and planning and baking. Of cookies for ornaments and gingerbread houses and baked gifts and pies, of course.

So they all delighted in helping, in stirring and decorating and then giving things out to friends and teachers and neighbors.
They all were so sweet, in between the fights, of course, and tantrums, and thrown objects.
All part of the deal. We all planned together and then I moderated and finished things up.
All of these things we experience, within us, rich, forever.
